Control rebar visibility and solid appearance in Revit views
Manage rebar visibility in Revit views by making them unobscured as solid 3D shapes or restoring their obscured state.
Overview
This command allows control of rebar visibility in the active Revit view. Users can select individual rebars, host elements, or apply changes across all rebars visible in the current view.
Selection Options
Users can choose to select:
- Rebar elements directly
- Host elements such as structural beams, columns, or walls
- The command automatically detects and processes all rebars within selected hosts
Visibility Control
Two visibility modes are available:
- Make Unobscured: Displays rebars as solid 3D shapes and removes visibility obstruction from host elements
- Make Obscured: Restores default visibility settings by hiding rebars behind their hosts
Bulk Operations
Apply the selected visibility setting to all rebar elements visible in the active view, eliminating the need for individual selection and accelerating view preparation workflows.
