The Clone Views command in BIMLOGIQ Copilot allows Revit users to duplicate existing views while preserving annotations and detailing. By carrying over elements such as dimensions, tags, and text notes, this Revit AI tool ensures consistency, reduces repetitive work, and supports design alternatives more efficiently.

Views

Select one or multiple views in the project to clone. Batch processing makes it easy to duplicate multiple layouts at once, ensuring alignment across project documentation.

Clone with Detailing

Enable the detailing option to include annotations such as dimensions, tags, and text notes when cloning views. This guarantees that the new views match the originals, maintaining both visual consistency and documentation standards.

Use Cases

  • Replicating Typical Unit Layouts
Copy fully detailed views from one level to another to maintain consistent annotations, dimensions, and tags across multiple units or floors.

  • Exploring Design Alternatives
Clone views with detailing to test different design options while retaining the same annotation and documentation framework.
