The Selector Manager command in BIMLOGIQ Copilot allows Revit users to refine and control element selections by filtering based on categories. Whether you’re preparing for tagging, modifying parameters, or isolating elements for export and analysis, this Revit AI tool gives you precise control over what’s included in your selection.

Category Filter

Selector Manager provides a simple interface to include or exclude Revit categories such as Structural Columns, Walls, Floors, or Annotations. This targeted filtering ensures you can focus only on the elements relevant to your current workflow.

Use Cases

  • Structural Detailing
Select only Structural Columns and Framing elements before adding dimensions or applying visibility filters.

  • Annotation Cleanup
Isolate annotation categories in a view to quickly identify missing or misplaced tags.

  • Export Preparation
Filter selections to include only model elements (e.g., Walls, Floors) for IFC or DWG exports, leaving out annotation clutter.

  • Batch Parameter Editing
Narrow your selection to a specific category, such as Doors, and apply bulk property changes more efficiently.

With BIMLOGIQ Copilot, your Revit AI assistant, element selection becomes faster, smarter, and more accurate. Watch the video below to see how Selector Manager enhances control and efficiency in Revit projects.
