Check Collisions Between Current and Linked Models in View
Detect and visually annotate intersections between elements in active and linked models directly within the current view.
Overview
The Check Collisions in View command in BIMLOGIQ Copilot allows coordination teams to identify intersection points between geometry from the working model and referenced files. This eliminates the need for external clash detection platforms by delivering results immediately within the Revit environment.
Configuration Parameters
Model Selection
- Source Link File — Optionally designate a reference file; if left blank, analysis runs against the current model
- Target Link File — Choose the comparative model, typically structural or architectural
Category Filters
- Source Categories — Select relevant system types (ducts, pipes, conduits)
- Target Categories — Specify receiving elements (walls, floors, beams)
Visual Customization
- Circle Radius (mm) — Control annotation marker dimensions
- Annotation Line Weight — Adjust thickness per graphic standards
- Annotation Color — Customize appearance for visual clarity
- Select Annotations After Creation — Auto-selects generated markers for batch editing
