Identify and Highlight Sanitary Pipes with 0 Slope in Revit Using AI with BIMLOGIQ Copilot
BIMLOGIQ Copilot scans your Revit model, isolates zero-slope sanitary pipes, and highlights them in red — a fast way to catch drainage design issues before they hit site.
Identifying pipes with improper slope is crucial in sanitary sewerage design, as 0-slope pipes can cause drainage failures and maintenance issues. Manually verifying each pipe demands significant time and introduces error potential.
BIMLOGIQ Copilot’s AI automates this workflow. The user submitted two prompts:
Prompt 1:
In this project, identify all vertical pipes (where vertical means having the same X and Y coordinates but different Z coordinates) and keep their projection line color unchanged. Then, locate all horizontal pipes with the System Type set to 'Sanitary' and a slope of 0, and change only their projection line color to red in the 3D view.
Prompt 2:
Save as a command and set color as a variable.
The AI examines the model, identifies zero-slope pipes, and highlights them red in the 3D view, enabling rapid identification and correction of design problems. Users can save and redeploy the command across future projects with customizable settings.
