Restroom design

Select a room's boundary walls and entry door and Argus lays out the full fit-out: compartments, fixtures, accessories and partitions. Every layout is graded against the 2010 ADA Standards plus hygiene, completeness and practice rules — seated reach to dispensers, grab-bar clearances, basin elbow room, changing-table access and door swings. You see a drawing on every run, the result lands as one undo step, and re-running on the same room replaces its own work instead of duplicating it.

Model MEP networks from a CAD drawing

Point Argus at a DWG or DXF import or link and it models a connected network from the 2D drawing: pipes, ducts, cable trays and conduits with elbows, tees, crosses, transitions, risers, valves and sprinkler heads in the right system, type, size and elevation. It reads size tags off the drawing, asks which side of a parallel pair is supply or return, and builds nothing until you confirm one summary. Afterwards it audits open ends, micro segments, duplicates and size jumps — and it verifies the reference level by name and elevation, so fittings land at the right height on every level.

Renumber and edit existing sheets

Argus can now renumber existing sheets and write their plot or custom parameters — asking for this used to end in 'nothing can do that'. It even explains when a number swap needs a free intermediate number.

Publish your details to the firm's Content Catalog

A new Content Catalog tab walks you from preflight to upload: it scans the open model for drafting views worth publishing, shows each one as a picture, writes a description and tags for you to edit, and uploads them to the collections you choose under your Autodesk account. Uploads can be cancelled and resumed, and a detail the catalog already holds becomes a new revision instead of a duplicate.

Chat and library polish round-up

A wave of quality-of-life work: sending a message pulls the chat back to the bottom while scrolling up keeps your place, sidebar rows show times with sticky headers, and you can keep typing your next message while Argus works. Filters in the Command Library and QA/QC pages survive switching to Chat and back, owners can delete a collection (with a warning listing who it's shared with), the 'long chat' notice became a single rare collapsed line, and two chat bugs — a sent message vanishing after a tool approval, and blank 'Untitled chat' rows from helper agents — are fixed. Validation now compiles exactly what will run, so commands and checks that pass validation also run.

QA/QC grows up: checklist editor, run reports and full control

Checklists get a real editor — group checks into categories, drag to reorder, and save the arrangement at once — plus a picker that searches your library and can publish a draft straight into the list. Every run keeps its own report with findings per category, an offenders table that selects flagged elements in Revit, and date filters with presets. A sweeping check can now be cancelled mid-run (finished checks are kept), and publishing a check edit asks which checklists should carry the new version so nothing changes silently.

Keynotes

Argus can assign element keynote values to types and material keynote values to chosen wall layers — validated against the project's keynote file — and place keynote tags on elements in a view. When a tag cannot be placed it explains exactly why instead of a generic 'no tag found'. Requires Revit 2022 or newer.

Block Argus on confidential projects

Subscription admins get a Projects tab where they can name an ACC project and switch Argus off on it for everyone — separately for chat, saved-command runs and QA/QC. Members on a blocked project see a banner saying what is refused and why, and no model content reaches the AI.

Follow-up suggestions after a finished job

Argus ends a piece of work with clickable chips such as 'Save as a command', 'Repeat on Level 04' or 'Verify what changed' — hover to preview the exact message, click to send it without touching your draft. After a job that changed the model, it also offers outright to save the work as a reusable command, naming the inputs a re-run would change.
