How to Use BIMLOGIQ Copilot: Simple Prompts You Can Try

BIMLOGIQ Copilot is built to respond to natural-language prompts — just type what you need, and it automates the task directly inside your BIM workflow.

Before we explore the detailed use cases, here are a few quick examples showing how easy it is to work with BIMLOGIQ Copilot:

  1. Create callout for each Room on the current view that their Area is smaller than 600 sqf
    • Adjust the command and also check if the Room Name contains ‘Unit’. When saving the command also make Room Name a Variable
  2. find all the walls on the current view that are adjacent to a Room with ‘Corridor’ in their Name. They override their Surface Pattern Color to Red
  3. Place ceiling Generic in each room on the current view with ‘Unit’ in their Room Name. Place the ceiling at 2400mm from the the reference level
  4. for each room on the current view that contains ‘Unit’ in their Name, create an Interior Elevation for 4 all sides, East, West, North and South
  5. find all the walls on the current view that are adjacent to a Room with ‘Corridor’ in their Name. They override their Surface Pattern Color to Red
  6. create an excel report of windows for each room. In column A of the excel file put the Room Name and in column B put the Window family name and in Column C put the Mark value of the window. Save the excel file on my desktop and call it “test”
