Arrangement Settings
Control how tags are aligned, grouped, and positioned to avoid model clutter:

Click the Arrangement Settings tab in the Settings window.
Select a Tag Alignment Mode:

Strict Alignment: Tags snap to fixed horizontal or vertical lines for uniform rows or columns (ideal for high-precision plans).

Relax Alignment (Recommended): Tags are placed close to host elements, minimizing leader lengths (optimal for dense views).

Choose Tag Grouping Behavior:

Stack Tags (Recommended): Groups multiple tags on the same element with a shared leader to reduce clutter.

Keep Tags Separate: Each tag has its own leader, even if referencing the same element (use only when required by standards).
Define Objects to Avoid:

On the right side, select Revit element categories (e.g., Arches, Cable Trays, Columns) that tags should not overlap.
Use All, None, Invert, or Default to adjust selections in bulk.
Enable Also avoid the selected elements in the link files to apply the rule to linked files.

Click OK to save your settings.
These controls ensure tags are placed correctly and remain clear for easy reading.
